Vampires
A Vampire is, in the simplest of terms, a living corpse. Taken from the blackness of death to again experience something akin to life, these creatures of night thrive off of the blood of humans. Equipped with two deadly fangs and keen night vision, Vampires possess incredibly hightened senses; though not to the acuteness of a Lycan's. With an extraordinary agility that grants them to move at such speeds as to be nearly invisible to humans, however, it's more than made up for. Now, add all this to their ability heal most injuries at a highly accelerated rate, and you have a sophisticated creature that borders impossible to take down.
Warnings:
- Sunlight. Risking exposure to its rays is nothing short of risking death. With the power to incinerate the flesh from your body, the sun is a Vampire's greatest weakness. If you are so lucky as to survive any extent of exposure, though, be warned that ultrviolet burns require much more time to heal. And be prepared for the agonizing pain.
- Blood is a necessity. As essential to a Vampire as food and water is to humans, you wont last long without this crimson substance. Prolonged periods without it can leave you weak and completely vulnerable. Even going so much a single night with some form of this nurishment can cause serious weariness and fatigue.
- Although minor injuries can be healed completely in short periods of time, the more serious ones will take more time to mend. And remember, ultraviolet burns are always considered severe.
- Be weary of the locations in which you spend your daylight hours. Although many Vampires choose to sleep with the sun fills the sky, it is not always necessary. Whether your preference is sleeping or otherwise, however, choose the site carefully. You wouldn't want any sunlight to seep in. Or anything else for that matter.
